Elopement Announcement

An elopement announcement is your chance to share joyful news on your own terms, without the pressure of a formal wedding invitation. These cards strike a warm, intimate tone—celebrating the fact that you're married while inviting loved ones into your happiness.

Starts from: “We just eloped in Sedona and want to tell everyone we're married—something joyful and personal that reflects our adventure together.” — edit anything once it’s designed.

Good to know

When should we send an elopement announcement?

Send it within two weeks of your elopement, while the joy is fresh. An announcement gives you time to share your news thoughtfully and plan a celebration gathering on your own schedule. RevelPost lets you set a send date in advance, so you can coordinate the timing perfectly.

Do we need to include a celebration date on the announcement?

You don't have to announce a celebration right away—some couples send the announcement first, then follow up with a separate celebration invite later. Others include a save-the-date for a future brunch or gathering on the announcement itself. Choose what feels right for your timeline.

Can we ask for gifts, or should we skip that entirely?

Many elopement announcements are purely about sharing news, not soliciting gifts. If you do want to include registry information or a note about how guests can celebrate you, keep it brief and gracious—perhaps mentioning a honeymoon fund or a favorite charity instead of traditional gifts.

Make it yours in one sentence.

Every example above regenerates as your event — your names, your venue, your date, verified.
