Privacy Policy
Last updated July 12, 2026
RevelPost (“RevelPost,” “we,” “us”) operates the online invitation service at revelpost.com. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email privacy@revelpost.com.
Information we collect
- Account information — when a host signs in (including with Google), we receive their name and email address to identify their account and their events.
- Event and guest information— the event details a host creates, and the guest details a host provides or imports (names, email addresses, and phone numbers) so we can deliver invitations and collect RSVPs on the host’s behalf.
- RSVP and message content — replies, dietary notes, and messages guests and hosts exchange through the event.
- Delivery and engagement data — whether an invitation email was delivered, opened, or bounced, so hosts can track and follow up.
How we use information
- To design invitations and deliver them by email and, where a host provides a phone number, by SMS.
- To collect and display RSVPs, send reminders the host schedules, and relay host–guest messages.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
SMS / text messaging
Where a host provides a guest’s mobile number, RevelPost sends that guest event invitations, RSVP reminders, and event updates on the host’s behalf. By providing a mobile number, guests may receive recurring event messages from RevelPost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Every message identifies the host and event and includes opt-out instructions. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, and HELP for help.
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent data is never shared with anyone for marketing. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver messages for the event a host invited that guest to, and are disclosed only to the messaging carrier strictly as needed to transmit those texts.
How we share information
We do not sell your information, and we never share mobile information or messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with the service providers who operate RevelPost on our behalf — our email provider (Resend), our SMS provider (Twilio), our database and hosting providers (Supabase and Vercel), and our AI provider for design generation — and only as needed to deliver the service. These providers act solely on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes. A host’s guest details are visible to that host (and any co-hosts they add) for managing their event. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention and your choices
We keep event and guest data for as long as an event is active or as needed to provide the service. A host can delete an event, which removes its guests, RSVPs, and messages. A guest can unsubscribe from emails via the link in any message, or reply STOP to opt out of texts. To request access to or deletion of your information, email privacy@revelpost.com.
Children
RevelPost is intended for adults planning events and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
